Efficacy
Pterostilbene is rapidly emerging as one of the most promising functional raw materials over the next 2–5 years, thanks to its powerful dual efficacy in both skin brightening and anti-aging.
By assembling pterostilbene into a supramolecular liposomal delivery system, we have not only significantly enhanced its whitening performance, but also stimulated the skin’s natural synthesis of type I collagen—a key marker of youthful, firm skin. Additionally, the transdermal absorption efficiency and thermal stability of the pterostilbene lipid microcapsules have been greatly improved.
Third-party clinical results demonstrate that UNISOUL® Reborn reduces wrinkle count by 55.8% after just 14 days of use. A pterostilbene-based whitening essence formulated with this raw material has already been submitted for special cosmetics registration.
In cytological studies, UNISOUL® Reborn, at an addition level of just 0.06%, demonstrated a stronger melanin inhibition effect than 0.3% kojic acid. This 0.06% concentration refers to the composite raw material, of which 10% is pterostilbene.
In other words, with only 0.006% of pterostilbene in supramolecular nanoliposome form, UNISOUL® Reborn achieves an equivalent—or greater—effect than a concentration 10 times higher using traditional whitening actives, highlighting its exceptional potency and delivery efficiency.
In a clinical trial involving over 30 participants, 2.5% UNISOUL® Reborn, applied over 28 days, led to a significant reduction in both the number and area of brown spots, while also visibly enhancing skin translucency and radiance.
Clinical trial results demonstrate a notable wrinkle-reducing effect, confirming the ingredient’s strong anti-aging performance.
In terms of skin penetration, UNISOUL® Reborn delivered over twice the amount of pterostilbene into the skin within 30 minutes of application compared to free pterostilbene. After 16 hours, the pterostilbene content in the skin was 9 times higher than that of the control group, demonstrating its superior transdermal delivery efficiency.
