Day 45 of using this scalp serum and shampoo.

Day 90.

Today marks 180 full days!

If we could hold an awards ceremony, we would give the warmest applause to the 30 study participants who stuck with it for 180 full days.
The 30 participants in the study
This study included a total of 32 healthy female participants aged 28 to 50, two of whom withdrew due to personal reasons.
The remaining 30 participants completed the full 180-day study, strictly following the experimental design and all protocols and requirements. All results are authentic and valid.
Prior to participating in the study, the 30 participants reported the following concerns:
60.0% had a receding hairline
70.0% had thinning hair at the temples
50.0% had a noticeably widening part line at the crown
73.3% self-reported general hair loss concerns

Each participant had at least two of these concerns.
Participant Usage Protocol
The 30 participants used both products daily for 180 consecutive days.
Product Usage Instructions:
① UNILIPO Caffeine Shampoo N°29
Use once daily, thoroughly massaging into the scalp.

Real-World Before & After Photos
We documented real-life photos of the participants taken before use, at 90 days, and at 180 days, focusing primarily on the temples, hairline, and part line.
Temples
Below are before-and-after comparisons of the temples on both sides for 7 participants.
By day 90, there was already a very noticeable improvement, with many fine hairs growing in. By day 180, the hair was even thicker, and the temples—previously sparse and exposed—were now completely covered by hair
Participant's Story:
Age: 31
Last June, I started experiencing noticeable hair loss after giving birth. My hairline began to recede, my part widened, and seeing my forehead becoming more exposed made me feel really anxious...

Participant's Story:
Age: 40
My hair has gradually become thinner in recent years, with widening part and frequent dandruff. My receding hairline made my forehead look larger and larger.

Participant's Story:
Age: 37
Over the past year, I have experienced hair loss, a widening part line, and thinning hair on the crown of my head.

Participant's Story:
Age: 35
I've been experiencing hair loss, a receding hairline, and thinning temples since giving birth.

Participant's Story:
Age: 30
I started noticing hair loss and a receding hairline at age 25, along with an oily scalp and hair that became fine, limp, and flat. I also had an allergic reaction to minoxidil.

Participant's Story:
Age: 28
This started about a year ago while I was preparing for exams after graduation, caused by high stress and emotional instability. After I started working, stress and pressure led to thinning hair on my crown, severe hair loss, a widening part line, thinning at the temples, and a small bare patch at the very front of my part line. I tried minoxidil for two months, but my hair fell out even more, so I stopped.

Participant's Story:
Age: 45
Over the past three years, I’ve noticed hair loss, a receding hairline, reduced hair volume, and a widening part line. I’ve even considered getting a hair transplant.

Hairline
The temples shown above are also part of the hairline. Since they're easier to capture from a good angle, we've included close-up shots. However, because it's difficult to find a good angle for the frontal hairline, there aren't many photos of that area.
Judging by the countless fine hairs growing along the hairline, it's clear that the hair on the forehead is becoming denser—and the end result will be hairline advancement.
As shown above, the improvement in this participant's temples and hairline is equally noticeable.

Participant's Story:
Age: 44
I've been losing a lot of hair everyday, with widening parts and severe thinning at the back of my head. It's turning into a "widow's peak" pattern. Postpartum hair loss made everything worse --- my hair volume is now less than half of what it used to be. I've tried several anti-hair loss shampoos, but none really worked.

Participant's Story:
Age: 31
Started losing a lot of hair six months postpartum, with noticeable hairline recession.

Part Line
A widening part line is the most obvious visual sign of excessive hair loss, and it's a concern many participants wanted to improve.
After 180 days of use, you can clearly see that the visible scalp area on the crown is getting smaller. The part line is gradually narrowing, and more hair is growing from the follicles along the part line.
The key to narrowing the part line is less hair loss and more new hair growth.
As shown in the image above, the improvement in this participant's hairline and part line is equally noticeable.

Participant's Story:
Age: 34
I started losing my hair after giving birth — my hairline receded and the hair on my crown thinned. I've tried a few anti-hair loss products, but the results were mediocre, so I didn't stick with them.

Participant's Story:
Age: 39
I used to have fine, soft hair, but after giving birth, my hair became even thinner. Then, after recovering from COVID-19 in late 2020, the hair loss on my crown and sides worsened. Now, I have about half the hair I used to have.

As shown in the before-and-after photos of the temples, this participant has developed fine hair growth in the temple area, and the improvement in her part line is equally noticeable.

Alopecia areata
Among the 30 participants, two had alopecia areata. Due to anxiety and high work stress, this condition—once rare among young people—is becoming increasingly common.
After 90 days of use, the affected areas had shrunk, and by 180 days, the alopecia areata was completely undetectable, with the hair having returned to normal.
The before-and-after photos of this participant's temples show a very noticeable difference. When photographing her part line, we noticed a relatively large, hairless patch of scalp on her crown where the part line is.

Participant's Story:
Age: 40
A year ago, I began experiencing a receding hairline, increased gray hair, and more noticeable hair loss. At the end of my part, there is also a patch of red, balding skin.

Hair Loss
To address hair loss, it's not enough to just let your hair grow — you also need to prevent hair loss and strengthen your hair. That's why we asked participants to closely monitor how much hair they lost each time they washed or brushed their hair.
Over the course of 180 days, 96.7% of participants reported a noticeable improvement in hair loss.
One observant participant took photos of the hair left in the drain after shampooing. After 90 days of use, hair loss during shampooing had already significantly decreased. By 180 days, only a few strands of hair fell out each time she washed her hair.
Participant's Story:
Age: 38
About a year ago, I started noticing a widening part line, severe hair loss, and a very oily scalp.

Participant Self-Assessment
After 180 days of use, a follow-up survey was conducted with the 30 participants who completed the study, focusing on three areas: whether hair loss had decreased, whether hair volume had increased, and whether their original concerns had improved.
Over 90% of participants reported improvements in hair loss and their original concerns, and over 80% reported an increase in hair volume.

Q&A
Q: Will small pimples appear along my hairline when I first start using the scalp serum?
A: This could be a sign of an intolerance reaction. The product's key active ingredients—caffeine, adenosine, and capixyl—work similarly to minoxidil by inhibiting dihydrotestosterone (DHT) to activate hair follicles.
During the first 1–2 months of use, a small number of people may experience scalp discomfort, such as itching, dandruff, or breakouts.
If these reactions occur, continue using the product for a while longer to observe any changes; they should subside in about two weeks to a month.
Q: I've just started using the shampoo or scalp serum, and it feels like my hair loss has gotten worse.
A: Some people experience hair shedding at the beginning of the hair growth process. This happens because once the hair follicles are activated, the "old hair" that was already in the telogen (resting) phase sheds more rapidly. Old hair must go before new hair can grow — so there's no need to worry excessively about shedding while using these products.
These old hairs make room for new hair to break through. Think of it like urban renewal: you have to tear down the old buildings before you can rebuild taller, stronger ones.
Q: Will stopping the treatment cause my hair to revert to its original state? Do I need to keep using it?
A: If hair loss or graying is caused by scalp aging or a decline in hair follicle stem cell function, it's actually similar to anti-wrinkle skincare for the face — consistency is key. This isn't a matter of "rebound" or "dependence"; it's simply that aging itself is an irreversible physiological process.
What we can do is intervene with safe, effective ingredients to activate hair follicle cells that are dormant or in a suboptimal state, helping them regain vitality and function.
Why Did We Conduct the "Save Your Hairline" Real-World Study?
The scalp ages up to several times faster than the face — collagen loss and reduced microcirculation weaken follicular support and limit nutrient supply, leading to finer, sparser hair, and even hair loss. That's why scalp anti-aging has become a cutting-edge research focus in dermatology and hair care.
Long before the industry began focusing on this issue, UNILIPO's Research Lab recognized the decisive impact of scalp health on overall hair quality. The lab has published two large-scale randomized controlled studies in internationally renowned journals such as the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology and the International Journal of Cosmetic Science.
Our team's clinical studies have shown that after three months of using UNILIPO Caffeine Shampoo, hair density increases significantly, hair loss is noticeably reduced, and both scalp sebum and microbiome show improvement compared to baseline.
Just as soil degradation affects crop growth, the condition of the scalp directly determines the vitality of your hair. To truly achieve voluminous, strong, and resilient hair, scalp anti-aging is key — let's start our anti-aging journey from the scalp up.

This study aims to investigate how the scalp microenvironment, including blood circulation and hair follicle health, affects hair conditions. It explores how activating hair follicles through scientific approaches can slow down scalp aging and improve various types of hair loss.

Through this recruitment initiative, we seek authentic, real-world feedback from participants to build a robust and credible database. Meanwhile, through various intervention methods for different hair concerns, we aim to help users identify more suitable and precise solutions through comparative insights.
Why Use the Products as a 1+1 Combination?

【UNILIPO Caffeine Shampoo N°29】 + 【UNILIPO Caffeine Scalp Essence Lotion】— this powerhouse duo uses a scientifically formulated system to address androgenetic alopecia (AGA) at its root. It precisely targets key areas of the hair follicle — activating dermal papilla cells, improving microcirculation around the follicle, and enhancing follicular activity to promote hair growth.

In addition, the Caffeine Scalp Essence Lotion contains premium antioxidant ingredients such as EUK-134. By inhibiting oxidative stress damage to melanocytes and regulating the upstream melanin synthesis pathway, it gradually restores gray hair to its natural color.
While the scalp essence lotion and shampoo work together toward a common goal, each plays a distinct role. Their synergistic action helps improve overall scalp health.
In Closing
Finally, a round of applause goes to the 30 participants who stuck with it for a full six months. It was your quiet, daily dedication that made all of this possible.
Embrace the long-term perspective: don't follow the crowd, don't let anxiety get the better of you. Choose the right approach, trust the process, and let patience be rewarded.
180 days is not the end — it's another milestone in our understanding of science. We're fortunate to live in an era of rapid advancement in life sciences, where technology not only transforms our lives but also redefines what's possible.
